What are 6MonthProjects

This is my journey creating - from inception to Prod completion - development projects each lasting 6 months. These projects will generally be side projects so will be small but hopefully useful.

The ideal is to create enough small tools and useful apps that these will generate enough passive income that I will be able to not fully depend on a full time job. 

While projects can be fun new ideas, they can also be extensions to existing apps and projects that I’ve already developed.

I hope to be discovering and sharing new ideas and techniques to:

- come up with project ideas

- weigh whether a project is worth doing

- right-size a project or MVP and project manage a small project to completion

- find tools to aid in dev work and devops to streamline processes

- monetise projects

The idea of 6 months projects is to

- develop a good basis of tools and techniques for rapid development and deployment

- fine tuning what good MVPs should look like

- create a habit to play out project ideas and see what works, without investing an inappropriate amount of time 

- and hopefully to create a platform of like minded devs where project ideas and techniques are shared
